Adult Education:
Many different adult education classes have been formed for all spiritual needs! Read the list below and find one that sounds like a good fit for you!!!
The Catechism: What does This Mean? – Rev. Russ Glaser will lead a group at 9:00 a.m. on Sunday morning (come early at 8:45 for fellowship and re-freshments) in exploring the Small Catechism. Want a brief and ―to the point way of understanding what the Christian faith is all about? Then the Catechism is for you!
Revelations - The book of Revelation will be taught by Linda Davis on Sunday mornings at 11:15 in Room 28. There will be 5 sessions, beginning January 15. Have you wondered what all those visions and symbols are about? Or why it’s called Revelation when it’s so confusing and unclear? This is a chance for us to explore Revelation together.
The Gospel of John – Each Wednesday afternoon from 3:00 to 4:00 p.m. Pat Snyder will lead a study of the Gospel of John. This Gospel is remarkably different from the other three Gospels (Matthew, Mark, and Luke) and is a favorite of many Christians. While the other three Gospel writings feature events in the life of Jesus, the Gospel of John offers deep insight into the teachings of Jesus. The group will meet in Room 30.
Pastor’s Class – An introductory session for Pastor’s Class will be held on Monday evenings, beginning at 7:00 p.m. The group will meet in the conference room, located in the church office on the main level of the parish house.
The Pastor’s Class is a study of the chief teachings of the Christian faith. It is designed for adults who have not been baptized, for those who come from other churches and want to better understand Lutheran teachings and practices, and for those who want to deepen their relationship with God. All who are inter-ested are invited to come!
