Preschool Ministry
This ministry will be the benchmark program of our early childhood ministry serving children ages 3-5 years. We are striving to make this program the best in town with state of the art technology, cutting edge curriculum, and highly qualified staff. Our preschool will boast 9 interests area including an art center, computer center, math center, dramatic play, and more complete with everything our students will need to learn and grow in preparation for elementary school.
Lamb of God will allow children to absorb knowledge through a wide range of play and learning activities. Children will be given opportunities for self-expression through music and art as well as develop manipulative skills and motor coordination through puzzles, blocks, and climbing equipment. Math and science skills are developed during learning stations that practice measuring, counting, sorting and inquiry about different kinds of animals or the weather. Language skills are developed through the use of books, during dramatic play, circle time and at every other part of their day at Lamb of God.
Preschool is offered in two sessions MWF morning, 8-11:00 a.m. and afternoon, 12:00-3 p.m.
Children’s Day Out
CDO is a ministry to children ages 6 months to 5 years. It is designed to promote socialization among young children. During a typical day, students will hear, watch, or act out a Bible story, play with friends and have a snack. Parents can sign their students up for Tuesday morning or afternoon, Thursday morning or afternoon or all sessions. Students who attend a full day session for CDO can stay at church over the lunch hour and eat a pre-packaged sack lunch from home for no additional charge.
CDO is offered Tuesday and Thursday morning, 8-10:30 a.m. and afternoon, 12:30-3 p.m.
Full Time
Full Time placements are available for ages 3-5 for all day care Monday through Friday from 7:45 a.m. – 5:30 p.m.
Our Philosophy
With our highly qualified staff, Lamb of God Lutheran School will provide an early learning environment that adopts the knowledge that young children learn best through play. Through socialization with other young children and interaction with objects in their environment, children will build successful skills to help them learn and grow.
Each day, children will develop their spirituality and love of God through a Bible story and activity. Christian based activities will be included in many of their other experiences during our daily programs. We want all our children to respect their friends, teachers, families and God. We will teach children to show respect and to treat others kindly.
Familiar routines with simple, basic guidelines will enable children to learn in a comfortable and relaxed environment. Lamb of God is also committed to working closely with parents toward the welfare of the whole child and family.
Our Mission
Our vision at Lamb of God is to be the premiere educational facility in Manhattan. We are a Christian institution that proudly represents Christian values and ethics in the education of children. You can rest assured that your child will be prepared for the next stage of life when they graduate from Lamb of God. Word of mouth is our best advantage for keeping up a strong program and reputation so please tell your friends and family about us!
